The Tulsa Health Department resumed its travel vaccine services in June 2024, offering clients individualized consultations, health-related prevention education and vaccine recommendations for their travel plans.
Title X federal funds were no longer available to the state for family planning services during the fiscal year. The Title X program helps to provide young and low-income families with access to comprehensive family planning and reproductive health care services at low cost or no cost. The loss of these funds has impacted the Tulsa Health Department's ability to confidentially offer comprehensive family planning services.
Family Planning services remain available to minors with parental consent. Minors may also self-consent for services if they meet specific criteria such as legally emancipated, living independently from their parent/guardian, being married, or having children.
Dysplasia services for abnormal pap smears are offered in our Adult Health Services program. This program is vital for individuals who are uninsured or underinsured to access colposcopy services.

The Tulsa Health Department has a long-standing partnership with the Oklahoma Caring Foundation to reduce access barriers and provide free immunizations to children across Tulsa County. The Oklahoma Caring Foundation's Caring Vans travel to licensed childcare centers, schools and community locations throughout the year. Additionally, the Caring Vans traveled to areas affected by severe weather such as the windstorms to offer Tdap vaccines to individuals impacted by the storm and those involved in the cleanup efforts.
The THD Community Immunization Team provided vaccines and vaccine information to the community. This effort included the distribution of the following items at community events and the supply to partner locations:
